Get to neutral. Control the next behavior.
Two minutes this morning. Get to neutral, name the objective, plan the process, check your readiness.
Two minutes tonight. Grade the day, score your mind, log the work.
Your standing goals β carries day to day.
Your words are the carrier. Saying negative stuff out loud makes it hit way harder. Rule #1: stop saying negative stuff out loud. Then flip it β not to fake-positive, to neutral.
Neutral accepts what's true, drops the judgment, and points at the next controllable behavior.
Made a mistake? The past is over β you can't get the rep back. Run the reset and get to the next behavior. (Moawad's "grass drill": drop it, get up, go.)
Not hyped, not nervous β present. Run this before you take the field.
Win or lose, you get 24 hours. Feel it, then get neutral and get to the tape.
Consistency is the whole game β behaviors kept and your Fearless trend, not moods.
Your daily Fearless score. Up and to the right.
Once a week β quick and neutral.
Built on the neutral-thinking work of Trevor Moawad (It Takes What It Takes Β· Getting to Neutral), in our own words.
Not positive, not negative β neutral. Judgment-free, in the present, focused only on the next controllable behavior. The past is irreversible; you assess it, you don't relive it.
Language is the carrier. Negative words said out loud hit far harder than positive ones β so step one is to stop saying negative stuff out loud, then reframe it to neutral.
You will not always feel motivated. Doesn't matter. "It takes what it takes" β do the next right behavior regardless of how you feel, and the feeling often follows.
You can't control the event β the ref, the weather, the score. You can control your effort, attitude, preparation, and response. Spend your energy only there.
One rep is over the second it ends. Reset and get to the next behavior. This is a moment, not who you are.
This is the engine behind Attitude β own your response in the Leadership / PATH standard. Neutral thinking is how you lead when it's hard. Reps here, standard there β same culture.
